I do respect that you brought this to the table, Rob. It is an interesting technique and I'm surprised I haven't heard more about it in the past. However, coming from a department in my company which is directly tied to marketing/
PR, I know that if anyone heard that I was doing this, I would have to face a lot of questions and concerns; and that is only from within the company. If anyone with public influence heard that we were implementing this sort of tracking on our site, it could cause a lot of potential problems for my coworkers; and for CTR results that may only increase a little.
