I can totally see doctors and nurses carry the ipad around - while doing rounds. Quick look up for med info, patient charts etc. It's an exciting time to be a doctor! Imagine never having to type up another patient notes - simply update everything as you go and the iPad syncs up with the hospital's mainframe.

Is such practice already existing? I mean do doctors and nurses use iPads right at the moment??? Or it`s just an idea for future? Whatever, it would be really great! Especially if the hospitals provided iPads to them for free.
