Merge Panasonic HDC-TM700 MTS Videos into One File for WD TV with no quality lost
I use the WD TV remote to play the folder with the .mts files recorded using the new Panasonic HDC-TM700. Even though Western Digital TV media player can play .mts files sequentially, there are pauses in playback of sequential .mts files. The small delay is likely 2 seconds. I used tsmuxer to join the .mts files for a more complete viewing experience, but the large output .m2ts video playback present on WDTV shows that the audio track falls behind the video about a second.
When looking for joining mts files for WDTV without quality loss, I find the tsMuxer alternative named Aunsoft Final Mate. It works like a charm when I import my videos, as it would automatically merge the video clips for me, and provide excellent output video quality with fast speed.

Last week I recorded some videos of my little girl's five years birthday with Panasonic TM700 and I want to join the bunch of video clips to one big file without conversion so that I can playback it on my DUNE HD Player. Bundled software HD Writer AE2.1 produces strange artifacts after clips merging together. There are two ways you can handle your TM700 AVCHD videos. You can either backup videos to computer first or directly extract videos to Final Mate for future editing.
- Capture Sony AVCHD videos from camcorder.
To load videos from camcorder, just connect the camcorder to computer with USB cable. Run Aunsoft Final Mate and choose to follow wizard. Select "Import" instead of Backup to quickly capture videos from camcorder. You can find imported videos under Camcorder tab in the main interface of Final Mate.
- Import Panasonic AVCHD videos from computer.

Step 3: Playback merged mts files on DUNE HD Player
When you have merged all the video clips together to one single avchd video, you can put the media to DUNE HD Player through external hard drive or stream your media to your TV. That's all. Easy and simple to enjoy real high definition recordings with family members.
Tips:

I am using Canon HF M300 to record videos and the camcorder saves AVCHD files in .mts format. The Canon VIXIA HF M300 captured 1920 x 1080 24Mbps Full HD Recording.
