Default iPhone OS 3.2 support for video calling, file downloads, SMS & handwriting keyboard

Engadget just confirmed that iPad running iPhone OS 3.2 has support for video calling, file downloads, and SMS and possibly handwriting keyboard!

New features of iPhone OS 3.2 on iPad they've uncovered:

New features I've uncovered:
• CoreGraphics to PDF API for sure, printer API is being prototyped
• Spell checker in text fields and web views using AppleSpell
- multiple languages
- grammar checking (English-only so far)
- address book integration
- user added words
- SDK access
- Included dictionaries: Apple Dictionary, New Oxford American Dictionary, Oxford American Writer's Thesaurus, Shogakukan Daijisen, Shogakukan Progressive English-Japanese Japanese-English Dictionary, and Shogakukan Ruigo Reikai Jiten (may also be used for a Dictionary app perhaps?)
• USB Host support or expanded Bluetooth support
- PTP support for transferring images
- MobileStorageMounter (perhaps used for PTP; perhaps used to mount external USB storage?)
- Hardware keyboard: USBKeyboardLayouts.plist
• Much richer text API including low-level access to font data and highlevel support for drawing formatted text
• Support for querying attached screens and choosing which screen a window draws on (App Store approved?)
• The beginnings of file upload in Safari
• Location-sensitive ads are being prototyped in integrated Maps application (and applications that use the maps framework)
• Ability for applications to modify the standard cut/copy/paste menu
• "Handwriting keyboard" is being prototyped.

MP4 Converter Pollution has never been so fashionable: A pair of NYU grad students have created a high-tech sweatshirt emblazoned with pink lungs that suddenly show blue veins when exposed to dirty air.M2TS ConverterNien Lam and Sue Ngo came up with the idea for a class on wearable technologies in the interactive telecommunications program at Tisch School of the Arts."The organs in your body are invisible to you, just like pollution and the other silent killers out there," said Lam, 32, who lives on the upper West Side."We wanted to bring up that visualization, bring the inside out," added Ngo, 27, of Fort Greene, Brooklyn. "This is a stark reminder for yourself and others around you."A dime-sized carbon monoxide sensor attached to the sweatshirt detects pollution from cars, factories, and even second-hand smoke. It sits on a microcontroller programmed to send electrical currents through the shirt, warming wires that run under the lungs -MKV Converter or on some shirts, a heart.Because the organs are made of thermochromic fabric that changes color dramatically when heated, blue veins become visible when the sensor finds toxins in the air."They went for something that's at once subtle and quite in your face," said designer Despina Papadopoulos, who co-taught the class. "It was a perfect project. It's a conversation starter."bout $60 worth of material, and organize mobs to wear them around the city. They are also experimenting with other kinds of sensors - including a booze detector."If you were drinking alcohol," Blu-ray Ripper Ngo explained, "the sensor would pick up the fumes and change the color of the liver."

Odd, I wasn't aware that AT&T had any DROID devices.. since they're only available on Verizon. Now you may have Android devices on your AT&T.I can't see this as any other reason than Verizon not wanting to subsidize new iPhones every year for people who have to have the newest iPhone annually. This being said, I'm sure there will still be some way of obtaining a new phone at a discount annually. If there is one thing that Verizon does well, its customer service, and if you're not happy, they generally go out of their way to fix the problem. iPad video Converter Mac When I worked at AT & T, several years back, we used to play "hacky-sack" with phones that this case had on them. It is a very good example, and a very big one. It will protect the screen, unless you drop some sharp object like a rock.
