Default Why doesn't iPad support Flash?

Nearly every single website on the planet uses Flash - so why in the world doesn't Apple embrace the technology? Lack of Flash on the iPad is a HUGE OVERSIGHT!

Steve Jobs doesn't see it that way. As has been made most evident with the latest comments from Jobs (seen here: Steve Jobs Bashes Google and Adobe’s Flash, According to Second-Hand Reports | Everything iPad), this is nothing new. He's felt this way about Flash on his Apple products since at least 2007, with the launch of the iPhone. Strictly speaking, while many people may believe that without Flash, they are missing out on some "perfect" web experience, Jobs does not agree.

Of course, Flash is used in about 73% of the videos seen on the entire Internet, and no one is arguing that Flash is a huge mainstay in the industry. However, Jobs believes that Flash is buggy, crashes his products needlessly, and he wants the user experience to be as close to "perfect" as one company can achieve. He obviously believes this is ascertained, simply by removing the attributes of a system that might hinder his product.

Default Tough topic

Well this is a tough one. Mac owners can attest to this. Flash crashes all the time on macs. Adobe hasn't tried to even rectify the problem That's why we're hearing reports of Jobs calling adobe lazy. Jobs sees it as adobe"s problem to fix. Not his. Truth be told I think it's because Jobs doesn't want all of the flash games to be able to bypass the app store. We're all too familiar with apple's lock down of their hardware. It presents a very interesting question. Will the popularity of apple's devices force publishers of websites to change their video formats in order to be viewed on the most popular devices? That's what Jobs is banking on. Only time will tell but I can't remember a time where hardware has such an opportunity to turn something as mainstay as flash into yesterdays technology.

You're absolutely right, CaseAce. Adobe's Flash Player is definitely a hog on the Mac system, and the company knows it. Yes, it sounds like they're trying to alleviate the system strain, but it seems that it would be too little, too late. Steve Jobs is confident in his decision to leave Flash Player out of his mobile tech, and there's nothing that's going to change his mind.

Whether or not Apple's people would admit it or not, it's also helpful that Google is pushing for an HTML5 adoption. With the two biggest companies promoting the enemy of Flash, then it's more likely that HTML5 gets adopted, and quicker.

It's very hard for us to understand from steve's perspective on the "flash". May be he wants to re-create the history of 'flash'..

This is a very poorly written article that only makes me laugh at how ridiculous your company is.

On your birth certificate should be the name of your father - if not, you can only provide information at your mother. (There is also a possibility that your father has acknowledged paternity after the fact, then the name is not on the original birth certificate! The youth welfare office, you can ask in the fall.) If you select the name you can you try it at the registration office, which costs a small fee (about 10-15 , if I'm not mistaken), Private investigators can also help. Or ask (former) neighbors. There are also people search engines (such as 1-2-3people), but as I said, the name is the most important, otherwise you will unfortunately continue at all Wish you luck in your search.) convert ts to avi Overall, very good review of ifixdirect's product. Just a little too steep for me even if you get overnight shipping, parts & labor. At least it's an option for those who what to spend the extra $$ to get white. I'd rather set the money aside to do an early upgrade to the iphone 5 if/when it comes out next year.
